Dharmasukta

Dharma Speaker:
Dharmasukta Timmerman had a 32 year career as a dually licensed clinician, (LCMHC, MLADC), working with clients of all ages in diverse settings. He dedicated many years advocating for access to effective and affordable treatment for those suffering from addictive disorders, as well as reducing the stigma associated with addiction and mental illness. Dharmasukta was a member of the NH LADAC Licensing Board. In this capacity, he dedicated his time and energy ensuring that those seeking licensure or re-licensure were held to the ethical standards of the profession. Dharmasukta is an ordained Buddhist in the Triratna Buddhist Order. His name, which is Sanskrit, means “Song of Praise for the Dharma. Dharmasukta practices and teaches at the Aryaloka Buddhist Center in Newmarket, NH. He has a keen interest in helping those suffering from addiction gain access to the Dharma.
